FORD Corporation Stops are designed and manufactured to conform with AWWA Standard C800. This specification covers thread dimensions, the metal alloy (no-lead brass) and the pressure rating for plug style valves. All FORD Stops are individually inspected and tested for leaks with air pressure. They are all compatible with tapping machines of current design.
